Ricky Allen Dubey, age 41, of Caseville, died suddenly Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Riverview Adult Foster Care Home in Grant Twp of natural causes.
He was born August 30, 1966 in Pigeon to John and Beverly (Scepanski) Dubey and grew up in Caseville. He was employed at MOCO in Caseville as an electrician until 1997 when he went on medical disability from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Ricky enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, especially walleye fishing, and was a frequent winner of the Walleye Fishing Tournament in Caseville. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, having never missed a Bike Week in Florida. Most of all though, he loved children and his family. He missed his older brother Tony, whom he always looked up to, and they are now undoubtedly together again.
He is survived by his daughters Allison, Kristin and Tiffani all of Linden and son Jesse of Bay Port; parents John and Beverly Dubey of Caseville; siblings Beth (Scott) Conant of Wisconsin, Steven (Mary) Liberty of Menominee, Deirdra (John) Snater of St. Johns and Rebecca Herman of Saginaw; grandfather Anthony Scepanski of Caseville; and the mother of his children Marci Talaski of Linden.
He was preceded in death by his brother Tony.
A funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM Monday, December 17th at St. Roch Catholic Church in Caseville with Fr. Ken Yaroch presiding. Burial will be in St. Roch Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Saturday, Noon-6PM Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and one hour before mass Monday at the church. There will be a scripture service at 3PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Roch Food Pantry or the Caseville School Scholarship Fund.
