Ricky Lee Kain

Ricky Lee Kain, 63, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Ellenville, New York while driving his semi.

Ricky was born June 25,1958 in Cass City to the late Maurice and Velma (Harwood) Kain. He graduated from Laker High School in 1976. Ricky has been driving truck since he was 16 years old. He owned and operated RMS Transport LLC in Elkton, delivering heavy equipment all over the US. He always wanted to be busy, be it wrenching, talking on the phone, snowmobiling, riding motorcycle, working outdoors, cutting wood, or playing with his grandchildren. He was an amazing father, grandfather and mentor; always willing to lend a hand or help someone.

Ricky is survived by his wife Sally; children Melissa Aldis of Elkton, Tracey (Steve) Harris of Sebewaing and Jess Putman of Pigeon; grandchildren Aria, Amelia, Josh, Marissa, Kaitlyn, Laci, KayLee, Shawna, and Brayden; brothers Maurice (Luann) Kain and Trevor (Sherry) Kain.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm Wednesday, January 19th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon. Visitation will be 1-7 Wednesday.
