Ricky D. Ziehm, age 62, of Owendale, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Ricky was born September 5, 1954, in Pigeon, to Donald and Jeannine (Faust) Ziehm. Ricky worked many years as a crop adjustor and was a self-employed farmer. He enjoyed racing at many speedways, watching Nascar and college football, tinkering on old cars, spending time with his family and enjoyed his grandchildren.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Jeannine Ziehm; his children: Todd Ziehm of Scottsdale, AZ, Andrea (Derek) Howard of Sebewaing and Melissa (Corey) Vollmer of Sebewaing; siblings: Deborah Ziehm, Jeff Ziehm, Jennifer (Ray) Ziehm-Scott, and Lynette Lorentz; grandchildren: Addison Mellendorf, Noah Howard, Alivea Howard and Raegan Vollmer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ziehm; and grandparents: Floyd and Madeline Ziehm, Bertha (Joe) Kissner and Paul Faust.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, at St. Paul Lutheran Church (Linkville). Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial of his cremains will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the family to go toward lung and heart research.
