Rita M. Jeric, 78, of Sand Point, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Covenant Hospital-Harrison in Saginaw.
Rita Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on December 15, 1942 to the late Delbert M. and Rita M. (Biondi) MacGregor. She attended the Kingswood School, Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan, where she met her first husband, David R. Johnston. She lived in Flint for most of her life. Beginning at age nine, Rita spent summers on Sand Point and moved there permanently in the mid-1990s. She married Richard A. Jeric in Flint on September 4, 1998. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an ardent supporter of University of Michigan sports.
Rita is survived by her husband Rich, son David M. Johnston, step-son T.J. Jeric and family, and many beloved cousins.
A memorial service is being planned for this summer, the date and location have not yet been set.
