Rita Sniecikowski, 89, of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Rita was born May 9, 1934 in Detroit to the late Vincenzo and Lena (Catalano) Giacolone. She loved to go out to eat and shopping.

Rita is survived by her daughter Mary Hillard of Bad Axe; granddaughters Sherrie Kim and Krysta Grabish; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roman, daughter Pauline and all of her siblings.

No funeral services are planned. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorials in her memory can be made to the Huron County Medical Care Facility.
