Robert Allison

Robert G. Allison, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Bob was born June 3, 1951 in Caro, the son of the late George E. & Beula K. (Schneider) Allison. Following graduation from Caro High School, Bob attended Delta College. He was a member of and worked out of the Boilermakers Union Local 169 for about twenty years, before retiring due to disability. Bob loved to go hunting, walleye fishing on the Saginaw Bay and watching the Tigers and Red Wings. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, brothers, nieces and being with his dog, Myster. Surviving Bob are his three children and their spouses, Andrea & Eric Miller of AuGres, Courtney & Kip Abbott of AuGres, Joshua Allison and his friend, Kara Wilson, of Mt Peasant; four grandchildren, Jasmine Watson, Gage Miller, Kippy Abbott, Kaydence Abbott; two brothers, Jerry and Loren Allison, both of Caro; two nieces, Rachael & Jason Rood of Otisville and Ashley Allison of Owosso; one great-niece, Eleanor Rood. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by an infant son, Nathan Allison and his favorite dog, Chief.
