Robert Michael Bank

Robert Michael Bank age 75, of Caro, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Bob was born February 2, 1947 in Saginaw, the son of the late Robert and Lois (Seder) Bank. He attended Vassar High School. Bob worked for the city of Battle Creek as a mason tile layer for the sewer division, retiring in the early 2000s as a supervisor. On July 8, 1988, Bob married the love of his life, the former Dirinda Myers. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and gambling. Bob loved to have fun and was always the life of the party. Above all else, he was a wonderful grandpa and absolutely adored spending time with his grandchildren. Bob leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Dirinda; children, Robert (Licia) Bank, Joshua (Laura) Gebert, Robin (Dave) Robinson, and Sarah (James Chandler) Bank; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally Lough and Connie Stewart; many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by grandchildren, Michael and Scarlett; brother, Timothy Bank; sister, Susan Kohlberg. In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at River of Life Assembly of God, 8959 Van Cleve Rd, Vassar, MI 48768. THe family will be present to receive visitors starting at 1:00 p.m. and visitation will continue after the service with a reception.
