Robert Ralph Beach

Robert Ralph Beach of Reese, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Brian's House in Essexville. Bob was born January 1, 1938 in Bay City, the son of the late Ralph and Marion (MacFarlane) Beach. He graduated from Akron High School with the class of 1956 and went on to service as a medic with the Army National Guard. Bob was united in marriage with the former Lois Densmore on January 19, 1957, and she preceded him in death on March 13, 2009. Bob and Lois were members of the Calico Twirlers Square Dancing Club and the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church where Bob had served as clerk of session and had taught Sunday school for fifty years. He was also the Gilford Township Clerk for nineteen years. Bob loved farming, driving tractors, and trucks. Bob is survived by two daughters, Beth Ann Asperger and husband, Scott, of Reese, Robin Spagnuolo of Reese; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Asperger and wife, Andrea Rasdale, Victoria Rutkowski and husband, Brian, Nicholas Asperger, Kelsey Spagnuolo, Kyle Spagnuolo; three great-grandchildren, Katherine Asperger, Tony Asperger, and Russell Rutkowski; one brother, Duane Beach and wife, Dory, of Caro; two sisters-in-law, Judy Beach of Essexville and Faith Austin of Bradenton, Florida; brother-in-law, James Densmore of Essexville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Michael; two brothers, Gary and Larry Beach; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church with Rev. Christina Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church or Brian's House.
