Robert R. Boudreau

Robert R. Boudreau, 93, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Bob was born November 25, 1929 in Detroit to the late Wilfred and Jeannette (Ainsley) Boudreau. In 1948 he graduated from Hazel Park High School.  He married Patricia Saulnier on May 14, 1960 at the Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Royal Oak.

Bob retired in 1991 as a general contractor for Robert VanKampen Company in Detroit.  After retiring he moved permanently from Warren to Caseville and spent winters in Jensen Beach, Florida.  He was an amateur ham radio operator.  He served on the Caseville Twp Zoning Board of Appeals and Caseville Water Authority.  He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and time spent in his workshop.

Bob is survived by his wife Patti; daughters Jeannette (Michael) McCracken of Washington Twp, and Dorine (Scott) Vanderzyppe of Sterling Heights; grandchildren Louie Fanelli, Janelle Fanelli, Robert (Lindsay) Vanderzyppe and Daniel Vanderzyppe; great-grandchildren Coleman and Mason Fanelli.

A memorial service will be at Noon, Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am and continue until the time of the service.
