Robert Kent Kitchen of Cass City, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home. Bob was born June 27, 1960 in Caro, the son of the late Hubert and Beverly (Moore) Kitchen, and was a 1978 graduate of Caro High School. Bob enjoyed being a bus driver for Highland Pines for over twenty-five years. He also liked riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, Sudoku, mushrooming, and playing with his grandson. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, cooking, baking, woodworking, including making arrows, nature, squirrel hunting, and Christmas music. He never missed an opportunity to listen to or watch the Detroit Tigers Bob is survived by two sons, Kyle Kitchen and Elizabeth of Cass City, Kary & Michele Kitchen of Flint; one grandson, Kaleb; siblings, Lee Jae Kitchen of Rose Island, Jane Kitchen of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kirk Alan Kitchen. A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
