Robert W. Lopinski age 52, of Ubly died, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region follow a long battle with health problems.
He was born September 6, 1964 in Garden City, the youngest child of the late Frank and Robert (Symanns) Lopinski. He grew up in Westland and later moved to Detroit. Robert was a chef at several country clubs in the Detroit area, he also worked on his own doing home improvements for others.
In 1999, he moved to a farm near Ubly. He loved his farm, raising livestock and growing vegetables. His hobbies included, deer hunting, trapping small game, snowmobiling and was an all-around collector. Robert was especially proud of his children and the people they were becoming. He loved his children and they were a big part of his life.
Surviving are his children, Leah and Dylan Lopinski; sisters, Debbie (Rich) Joly and Julie Lopinski; his brother, Frank Curtis (Donna) Lopinski and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be celebrated 12:00 Noon Saturday, January21, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkton.Trinity Lutheran Church
