Robert Dale Martin

Robert D. Martin, age 86, of Sebewaing, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Bob was born on October 17, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Robert and Marie (Sorrells) Martin. He married Patricia Jones on November 1957, at the Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. They have been married 62 years. Bob worked for Michigan Bell Telephone for 36 years. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling. Bob was a Boy Scout earning his eagle and palms. He spent 25 years as an Adult Scout Leader.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pat of Sebewaing; his brother, George (Judy) Martin; grandson, Robert Anthony Martin; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his only son, Robert D. Martin, Jr.

A Memorial visitation and service will take place Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 12noon until the time of service at 4pm. Rev. Charles Kuhl will be officiating. Military funeral honors will take place after the service.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association, Sebewaing American Legion Post # 293 or Sebewaing Sportsman VFW.
