Robert Franklyn Payton

Robert Franklyn Payton of Caro, age 58, passed away unexpectedly due to complications from a heart attack on Monday, November 13, 2023. Bob was born on September 10, 1965 in Warren, the son of the late Franklyn and Alice (Lusk) Payton. He graduated from Richmond High School with the class of 1983. Bob was self-employed for over thirty-five years, owning/operating Dr. Construction and Michigan Openings. He was a member of the Moose and enjoyed a good cookout. Bob loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and being outdoors. He was quite the pool shark and had the trophies to prove it. Bob had a great sense of humor and always cherished time spent with his girlfriend, Dru, family, and friends.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his girlfriend of nearly twenty years, Dru Onuskanich; younger brother, Bill Payton; three nieces & three nephews.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
