Robert C. Robinson, 88, of Bay Port, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Meadow Lane Assisted Living in Bad Axe.

Robert was born November 8, 1933 in Detroit to the late Charles and Beatrice (Hutton) Robinson. On December 5, 1970 he married Donna Draper at Kirk in the Hills, Bloomfield Hills; she preceded him in death on December 9, 2016.

Robert retired from Ford Motor Company in 1988 as an accounting section supervisor. Having vacationed in Huron County for many years, he moved there permanently in 1988. He and his wife enjoyed camping and traveling the US in motor homes with their Golden Retrievers. He loved Ford vehicles, tractors and playing harmonica.

Robert is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Terry) Shebby of Pigeon and Christine Robinson of Maricopa, Arizona; six grandchildren Jeremy, Angela, Amber, Aimee, Robbie, and Elliot; and nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Wyzlic.

Funeral services will be Noon Saturday, September 10th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Pastor Reggie Courliss officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Thumb Animal Shelter.
