Robert "Bob" Taschner

It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert “BOB” Taschner age 65 of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, formerly of Sebewaing on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

Son, brother, husband, father and friend to many. Bob was welcomed into heaven by his loving sons, Robin and Stephen. He will be remembered for his friendly smile, generous spirit, creative genius and attention to detail.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Mary (nee Melchior); brother, Donald of St Petersburg, FL; sisters, Nancy Schuette of Pigeon, Pearl Fitzpatrick of Kewanee, IL and Julia (Ed) Crawford of Jacksonville, FL and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Sally Taschner, brothers, Frank and Johnny and his sister, Maebelle Merchberger.

A memorial mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Prince George, BC. Memorial gifts may be given to Vancouver Children’s Hospital in memory of his sons, Robin and Stephen.
Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Vanderhoof, BC handled the arrangements (locally, Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton).
