Robert Trisch

Robert A. Trisch, age 72, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, at his home, on Friday, January 6, 2012. Robert was born September 5, 1939 in Caro, the son of the late Alfred & Florence (Silvernail) Trisch, and was a lifelong Caro resident. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. Robert was united in marriage with Teresa Nappo on April 20, 1964 in Formia, Italy. He was employed with Saginaw Steering Gear in the shipping and receiving department for thirty-one years, retiring in 1994. He was also employed part-time as a realtor for B. A. Calka and Osentoski Realtors. Robert enjoyed working in his woodshop at home, fishing, hunting, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving Robert is his wife, Teresa Trisch of Caro and their children, Florence (Richard) McNinch of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dean (Stefanie) Trisch of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro with Rev. John Ladd officiating. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
