Robert Thomas Yax, 61, of Kinde, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon.

Robert was born April 4, 1963 in Flint to the late Gerald and Marion (Gosselin) Yax. In 1981 he graduated from Flint Central High School. He retired in 2020 after 24 years employment with General Motors. Robert was a beekeeper and enjoyed cooking and maintaining a garden.

Robert is survived by his sister Jeannette (Tom) VanDusen-Weise of Clio and brothers William (Carla) of Millington, Joseph (Michelle) of Clio and Jay (Kristen) of Clio; nieces and nephews Patrick and Jordan VanDusen, Madelyn, Emily, Evan, Abby, and Andrew Yax, Douglas Delecki and Thomas Weise and great-nephew Brady Delecki.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00am Saturday, March 15th at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. George Amos presiding. Burial will be in St. Felix Cemetery, Pinnebog. Visitation will be 4-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.
