Rodney T. Bach

Rodney T. Bach, age 52, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully with family surrounding him on Monday, September 15, 2025, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Rod was born in Cass City on November 6, 1972, to Bruce and Joanne Bach (nee Lupp). He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church where he has been a lifetime member. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School until 8th grade then graduated in 1991 from Unionville-Sebewaing Area School. He served for two years in the United States Army, stationed in Forthood, Texas. Rod worked with livestock his whole work life. He loved to hunt, fish, canoe, play euchre and spend time with his family and his dogs. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers.

Rod is survived by his parents: Bruce and Joanne Bach; brother, Brian (Margie) Bach and Derek (Jennifer) Bach; nieces: Lilyan and Juliana Bach; nephews: Brent, Ethan and Noah (Sarah Budds) Bach; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 800 E. Bay St., Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. A luncheon will follow.

Memorial donations may be given to Christ the King Lutheran School or the charity of your choice.
