Roger Raymond Eastman

Roger Raymond Eastman of Caro, age 65, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at United Hospice Residence in Marlette. He was born January 10, 1948 in Lapeer, the son of the late Ray and Shirley (Daly) Eastman. Roger lived in Lapeer for the majority of his life, coming to Caro in 2008. He was united in marriage with the former Jacquelyn M. Posner on August 4, 1990 in Lapeer, and she survives him. Roger was employed with Chrysler Corporation at the Warren Avenue Stamping Plant for approximately twenty years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring furniture and loved watching the Detroit Tigers on television. Roger is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Jacquelyn M. Eastman of Caro; one brother, David Eastman of Orion Township; two children, Kay Anderson of New Mexico, and Michael Kitchenmaster of Morrice; four step-children, Erin Burton of Lapeer, Ashley Romain of Cass City, Hilary Slusher of Mayville, Megan Howard of Caro; and fifteen grandchildren. In keeping with Roger's wishes, cremation has taken place. There is no service planned at this time.
