Roger D. Elenbaum, 79, of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Scheurer Long Term Care in Pigeon.
Roger was born May 21, 1943 in Bad Axe to the late Lloyd and Melva (Dietzel) Elenbaum. He graduated in 1961 from Laker High School. He was a lifelong farmer and member of Michigan Farm Bureau. Roger attended Salem United Methodist Church. He spent winters in Bradenton, Florida. Roger enjoyed farming, attending Gospel quartets, camping and snowmobiling with friends and family.
Roger is survived by his wife Janice; children Kris (Jamie) McBride of Waterford, Paul (Patti) Elenbaum of Indiana, Sherry Larsen of Colorado and Kimberly (Gavin) Litchfield of North Carolina; grandchildren Jacob, Maggie, Chase, Jenna, Andee, Ezra, Everleigh, and Ryleigh; siblings Charlene (Sam) Dibble of Brighton, Melva Jean (Rick) Coleman of Cass City, Dawn Pobanz of Alma, and Pam (Jay) Dubey of Pigeon. He was preceded in death by grandson Jack McBride and brother-in-law Bob Pobanz.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, November 19th at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Albert Barchue officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebewaing. Visitation will be 2-6 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.
The family wishes to acknowledge Scheurer Long Term Care for their compassionate care and being his second family over the seven years he resided there.
