Roger Rusty Martindale

Roger L. Martindale, 74, of Caro, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City with family by his side.

Rusty was born January 1, 1947 in Caro to the late George and Gertrude (Fenner) Martindale. He attended Caro High School. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. On March 10, 1973 he married Joann White in Cass City.

Rusty worked as the parts manager at Rabideau Motors in Cass City. He was a member of the Gagetown Church of the Nazarene. An outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his wife Joann; children Shane (Carrie) of Pigeon and Angela (Matt) Roemer of Owendale; grandchildren Beau and Ashtyn Martindale, Tyler and Andrew Roemer. He was preceded in death by sister Doris Witkovsky and brothers Duryl and Raymond.

There will be a memorial at a later date. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
