Ronald Allen Atwood

Ronald A. Atwood, 59, of Caseville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at home under hospice care surrounded by family and friends.

Ron was born July 13, 1964 in Pontiac to the late David and Sandra (Cork) Atwood.  He graduated in 1982 from Avondale High School in Auburn Hills.  He served four years in the US Navy.  He married Patricia Rowe on September 23, 2004 at Mud Creek.  He worked as the service manager at Tri-County Equipment in Bad Axe.  He was a member of the Caseville Eagles Club.  Ron enjoyed golfing, camping, and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Ron is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Leah (Bobby Witt) Atwood of Pigeon, Amber (Vincent Green) Atwood of Las Vegas, and Kaley (Jonathan Love) Atwood of Las Vegas; grandchildren Braylyn, Briyah, Bosstyn, Bryley, Amai, and Jonathan; brother Michael (Dawn) Atwood of Kinde; many nieces and nephews; and specials friends Bruce and Mary Beth Dillard.  He was preceded in death by his grandson Sky and mother Sandy Rose.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, January 13 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joshua Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be 2-8 Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Thumb Animal Shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
