Ronald H. Gransden, 80, of Pigeon, died Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
Ron was born March 24, 1939 in West Highland, Michigan to the late Harry and Gathel (Spangler) Gransden. He married Jean Errer on September 16, 1972 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville.
For 47 years he worked as a carpenter in the Pigeon Area. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville.
He is survived by his wife Jean; children Joy (Randy) Kinsey of Montana, Vicki Cozzens of Montana, and Lisa (Dave) Vipperman of Highland; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Edna Brockway and Brenda Fortin; his great-niece, his little sweetheart, Lyndsey Bolzman, and many loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jennifer, brothers Donald, Keith, and William and sister Winona Taulbee.
A memorial service will 11:00am Friday, December 6th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville with Rev. Chris Suggitt officiating. Friends and family will begin gathering at the church after 10:00am Friday. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
