"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 Ronald G. Kennedy went to be with Jesus on the morning of July 1, 2015. Ron was born on April 23, 1940 on the family homestead in Mayville, the son of Leon and Genevieve (Kitchen) Kennedy. He was a decorated officer and retired as Police Sergeant after twenty-five years of service. Ron loved his farm, planting trees and working with wood. Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister and brother-in-law, Cecil and Genny Lynn Hartwick; sisters, Diana Smith and Janis Rossiter; sister-in-law, June Ann Taylor; and special friends, Cecil and Jenny McMurray. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Grace Taylor Kennedy; his parents, Leon & Genevieve Kennedy of Mayville; and his father- and mother-in-law, Frank & Mable Taylor of Caro.
