Ronald Niemi

Ronald Niemi, age 59, of Sebewaing, passed away July 10, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Ronald was born in West Branch, to George and Marie (Conrad) Niemi. Ronald was raised in Skidway Lake, Michigan and moved to the Sebewaing area in 2010. He is a graduate of Whittemore Prescott High School. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, working on his truck, riding ATV's, hunting, camping, and shooting and collecting guns. He worked for Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing as a knife setter.

Ronald is survived by his 9 children: Rick (Jennifer) Niemi, David (Tiffany) Niemi, Vickie Niemi, Jessica Niemi, Joshua Niemi, Diane (Mark) Binder, Norman (Michelle) Butler, Raymond (Brenda) Butler and Bahama (Jerry) Gorski; 25 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings: Sandra Stahl, Rick Niemi, and Marsha Unger.

He is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Barbara Butler; parents; and brother, Gary Niemi.

Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2018, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
