Rosalie Janice King

Rosalie Janice King of Caro, age 77, went into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. She was born September 11, 1938 in Wyoming, Michigan, the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Allen) Payne. Rosie enjoyed caring for her family and home, and taught Sunday School in Wyoming at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. Rosalie is survived by one daughter, Tami Aten and special friend, Thomas, of Wyoming; daughter-in-law, Danielle Lavery; five grandchildren, Thomas Rose, James Robert Aten and his wife, Jamie, Brieanna Rose Aten, Maggie Rose Lavery, Molly Anne Lavery; one great-grandchild, James Rose; five siblings and their spouses, Shirley Bartz, Marie & Douglas Bosin, James Payne, David & Mary Payne, Suzanna Green; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by three children, Janet Marie, LaLonnie, and Brian D. Lavery; one great-grandson, David James Aten; six siblings, Bud, Jeanne, George David, Margie, Richard, and Cherie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. David Wilczynski officiating. Burial will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
