Rose Marie Bushey

Rose Marie Bushey, age 85, of Bad Axe, died Monday evening, November 28, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.

She was born September 25, 1926 in Brexville, Ohio to the late Jacob and Hattie (Kula) Fealko. When she was a child, she moved to Kinde with her parents. She married Howard Bushey and they moved to Detroit. Two years later, they returned to Huron County settling in Pinnebog where they raised their family. Howard passed away May 25, 2003.

Rose was employed at Firestone, Ubly for 11 years, retiring in 1983, and then did in home care for the elderly for 10 years.
She was a former member of St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog.

Surviving are three children, Dennis (Joan) Bushey of Bad Axe, Darren Bushey of Bad Axe and Dawn (Ray) VanValkenburg of Elkton; four grandchildren, Kristi, Mike, Cal and Shane; four great grandsons, Ben, Luke, Jordan and Collin and her brother, Tony (Sheri) Kula of Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, December 1, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. Karen Bouverette will officiate with burial in St. Felix Catholic Cemetery, Pinnebog.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday and after 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
