Rose Lewandowski

Rose Mary Lewandowski, age 88, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at Satchells Christian Retirement Home in Caro, following a lingering illness. Rose Mary was born July 13, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late William L. & Laura (Forten) Charbeneau. She was united in marriage with Ralph Lewandowski on May 3, 1941 in Detroit, and cherished her time with him until his death in 1980. Rose Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro and enjoyed embroidering, crocheting and reading. Left to cherish Rose Marys memory are three children, Diane Wojtaszek and her husband, Wallace, of Caro, Brenda Gagnon of Rochester, Dan Lewandowski of Warren; six grandchildren, Randy & Suzy Wojtaszek of White Lake, Michael & Julie Wojtaszek of Portage, Gregory Gagnon of Lake Orion, Glen & Maria Gagnon of Korea, Daniel & Jodie Lewandowski of Toronto, Canada, Peter & Ashley Lewandowski of Greenville, South Carolina; four great-grandchildren, Cody Wojtaszek, Mallory Wojtaszek, Elijah Lewandowski and Marlo Lewandowski. In addition to her husband, Rose Mary was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Walker.
