Rose Marie Luther

Rose Marie Luther, age 75, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1935 in Unionville, MI to the late Jacob & Marie (York) Marker. Rose married Roland Budd Luther November 15, 1954. She was active on many boards at the Unionville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to the casino while Roland was out golfing. Most of all Rose loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Rose is the beloved wife of Roland. Loving mother of Rhonda (Richard) Farver, Rodney (Brenda) Luther, Ronald (Shiela) Luther, Renee (Richard) Koch, Randy (Lola) Luther, Robin (Steve) Linzner, & Rose (Jeffrey) Finkbeiner. Proud grandmother of Michael Farver, Ryan Luther, Rachel Luther, Jason Bursick, Shannon Mulligan, Levi Luther, Melissa Hemerline, Nicole Meyer, Lindsay Piche, Travis Luther, Zachary Linzner, Michael Dyer, Heather Hewitt, Corinna Gusa, Ron Gusa, Steven Gusa, and the late Jessica Luther. Great grandmother of 18. Dearest sister of James (Dee) Marker, Robert (Val) Marker, Ruth (the late Jack) McShane, Peggy (Tom) Wark, Vicki (Tom) Thorold, and the late John (Elenor) Marker & the late Kathy Gugel.

Visitation Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Sebewaing, from 2-8pm.

Funeral services will be Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Sebewaing. Visitation at the church beginning at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Rev. Alger Lewis will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Hickory Island Cemetery, Akron Twp., MI.

Memorial donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
