Rose A. Stanislawski of Caro, passed from this world into Gods Kingdom on Monday, November 21, 2005, at the age of 83. She was born on April 28, 1922, to Michael and Antoinette Bennick of Caro. She grew up in Caro and moved to Detroit during World War II. On April 17, 1948, she married Ted Stanislawski at Saint Francis DeSales Church in Detroit. They moved back to the Caro area in 1989. They were active in the community with their antique autos, (especially Rosies 42 Plymouth.) Rose and Ted also did extensive traveling throughout the United States. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ted. Also surviving are their four sons and their wives, Timothy and Valerie Stanislawski of Plymouth, Thomas and Jeri Ann Stanislawski of Gaines, Gregory and Becky Stanislawski of Millington and Joseph and Catherine Stanislawski of Milford; four grandsons, Gregory, Nathan, Alex and Justin; four granddaughters, Melissa, Roselyn, Sara and Jenna; two sisters, three brothers and spouses, Helen Maciejewski of Caro, Ann Brigham of Vassar, Edward Bennick of Caro, Paul (Louise) Bennick of Texas and Peter Bennick of Caro; a sister-in-law; Phyllis Bennick of Caro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and Walter Bennick; one sister, Mary Nowakowski; and her in-laws, Walter Nowakowski, Tony Maciejewski, Clarence Brigham and Angeline Bennick. Rose will lie in state at the Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., during which time there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wilmot from 10:00 a.m. until the time the funeral mass is celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Fred Kawka officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made in Rosies name to the Lutheran Home Care, Hospice of Hope, 9710 Junction Rd., Suite A, Frankenmuth, MI 48737-9502.
