Rose Mary Wingett, age 85, of Caseville, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe after a short illness.

Rose was born January 3, 1922 in Macon, Missouri to the late Edward and Nellie (Weber) Danner. On August 7, 1937 she married Richard H. Wingett in Edina, Missouri. Richard preceded her in death on June 6, 2006.

They moved to Leonard, Michigan in 1939. Rose worked at National Twist Drill in Rochester until 1974. In 1975 she retired permanently to Caseville. She was a charter member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary #3690. She enjoyed playing BINGO and going to casinos.

Rose is survived by her son Rodney and his wife Patricia of Utica and daughter Rama and her husband Tony Bruce of Caseville; grandchildren Tony, Natalie, Rich, Nikki, Robbie, Tracie, Ryan, Rhett and Dustin; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Roland, brother Eugene Danner and sister Goldie Land.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Phillip Voss officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Twp. Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. There will be an Eagles’ Auxiliary Ritual at 5:00 Sunday.
