Rosella Alberta Manning

Our beloved Aunt, Rosella A. Manning, 72, formerly of Port Huron, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Rosie was born September 4, 1952 in Detroit to the late Wilson and Patricia (LaRosa) Westerby.  In 1972 she graduated with the first graduating class from Harrison High School in Farmington Hills then attended Baker College.  She retired as a TSA agent at Detroit Metro Airport and moved from Farmington Hills to Port Huron. She was a devoted Christian who studied the Bible.  She enjoyed music, traveling, jewelry, and watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers.

Rosie is survived by and will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew Thurman (Leslie) Westerby, Pricilla (Jeremy) Tietz, Victoria Fritz, and Dorthy “Dot” (Doug) Armstrong; and great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Manning and sister Alexandria Jordan.

There will be a memorial service this summer.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
