Roselynne Caroline Burgett

Roselynne Caroline Burgett, age 73, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2019 due to complications of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease at From the Heart Adult Foster Care in Bay City where she had moved to in September 2016 after suffering a major stroke so she could receive appropriate care and support. For many years Lynne worked as a surgical technician in the operating room helping people and saving lives. Later in life she went back to college and earned her Baccalaureate of Arts in Social Science. She used her degree for several years to help troubled youths from dysfunctional homes. She loved cats, spending time with friends and family, and listening to her brothers play their guitars and sing.

She was born August 8, 1946 in Sebewaing, Michigan to George and Minna (Gotham) Burgett.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Franklin Burgett, Russell Burgett, and Duane Burgett and sisters Betty Griggs, Thelma Feinauer, Bonnie Owens and Marie Quintel.

Lynne is survived by her loving son, Timothy Wollin and wife Magdalena and their two sons, Joseph and Jacob; her sister, Patricia Kuhl (Ronald); her brother, Donald Burgett; her brother and wife, William and Mary Jo Burgett; her brother and wife, James and Clara Burgett; her sister-in-law, Gail Burgett and sister-in-law, Ruth Burgett and many nieces, nephews, and Burgett and Gotham relatives.

Please join us for visitation and a small service on Saturday morning December 7, 2019, between 10:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m. at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, 538 S. Beck St, Sebewaing. The burial will take place after the service at the Silverlawn Cemetery (also known as Sebewaing Assembly of God Cemetery) located at the North/West corner of E. Bay St. and Mill St.—attendance is welcomed. After the service, a light lunch will be served at the Owendale United Methodist Church, 7370 Main St, Owendale, MI.
