Roxanna Kay "Roxie" Dillon

Surrounded by the love of her family, Roxanna Kay Dillon passed away on March 28, 2022. Roxie was born May 16, 1945 in Lansing, the daughter of the late Claire and Geraldine (Wilkie) McDurmon and was a 1963 graduate of Caro High School. Roxie married the love of her life, Thomas Dillon, on September 28, 1963. Roxie and Tom joyfully celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage prior to Tom's passing in 2020. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Roxie was administratively gifted and had an eye for detail. She worked at the Tuscola County Advertiser for seventeen years, replacing her mother as Office Manager when she retired. Her greatest legacy is her love story for her family. Her faith in God and His love had no bounds. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Danielle (John) Vacanti of Caro, Michelle (Ray) Seigo of Grand Ledge, Amy (Dave) Shanks of Lansing, Carey Gray (Eddie McGinnis) of Greenwood; seven grandchildren including Thomas (Lindsay) Vacanti, Michael Vacanti (Hope Mousseau), Tim Vacanti, Isabella and Gabrielle Seigo, Sydney Shanks, and Dillon Gray; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Roxie was preceded in death by one sister, Kristin Wagner. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
