Ruby Lee Fader

Ruby Lee Fader of Caro, age 80, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw. She was born December 7, 1934 in Sandusky, the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Bland) Montague. Ruby was united in marriage with Rudolph "Rudy" Fader on October 20, 1951 in Caro. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ruby enjoyed playing cards and bingo, going on Casino trips, and was a member of the Caro Women of the Moose Lodge #940. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Rudy Fader of Caro; two children and their spouses, Randy & Robin Fader and Cindy & Jim Spencer, all of Caro; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Sheila Montague of Vassar, Wilma Clink of Riverside, California and Rose Fader of Caro; one brother-in-law, Ron Gibbs of Caro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Kim Frank officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. A Women of the Moose memorial service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Fader Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Rudy Fader, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, Michigan 48723.
