Russell Michael Dutcher

Russell M. Dutcher , age 73, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully at his home on hospice care.

Russell was born in Sebewaing on February 20, 1950, to Harold and Katherine (Howard) Dutcher. He worked many years for Thumb Industries in Bad Axe. Russell was loved around the town of Sebewaing. He frequented many businesses stopping in to say hi. His favorite stops were to the Sebewaing Police Department, Sebewaing Light and Water and Sebewaing Fire Department. He enjoyed listening to Elvis, playing horseshoes, softball games at the park, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune every night.

Russell is survived by his siblings: Kathy Dutcher and Charles Dutcher; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and friends.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Sandra Champagne and Constance Foutch.

A memorial visitation and service is planned for Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will be from 1-6pm with a service at 6pm. Pastor Charles Kuhl will be officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the Sebewaing Police Department or the Sebewaing Fire Department.
