Russell Wayne Feldhouse

Russell Wayne Feldhouse of Caro, age 78, passed away on April 2, 2024 at the Hospice House of Shiawassee. Russell was born May 24, 1945 in Howell, the son of Elmer and Cora (Hayden) Feldhouse. He grew up in Durand and graduated from Durand High School. Following graduation, Russell served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea, Colorado, and Kentucky. He worked for General Motors at Fisher Body of Flint #1 and the Truck and Bus Plant. Russell was a skilled mechanic, working on all types of engines and vehicles. He adored all of his dogs, liked to go bowling, and made great memories fishing with his children when they were younger. Russell loved a good bonfire, enjoyed driving around, and never turned down a beer. He had a great sense of humor, and you could always count on him for a getting together and having a few cold ones.

Russell leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Robert Feldhouse and Brenda (Dan) Zelenka; grandchildren, David, Kenneth, Robbie, Hunter, Jacob, Brendan, Carleigh, Dannielle, and Sidney; six great-grandchildren; mother, Cora Delodge-Miller; sister, Delores (Ray) Bannerman; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Russell was preceded in death by his father, Elmer; grandson, James; siblings, Ron, Rick, Bob, and Kathryn.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
