Ruth Katherine Bouck McComb, age 84 of Caseville, died suddenly Friday July 8th 2005 at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe.
Ruth was born May 20, 1921 in Detroit to the late Clyde and Clara McDougal. She married Orville Bouck in 1946. Together they lived in Detroit until moving to Caseville in 1975. Orville died in 1984. She later married Manly McComb of Caro on May 21, 1988 at the Caseville United Methodist Church. Ruth was a homemaker who loved to sew, crochet and read. She was a member of the Caseville Retirement Club, Pinnebog United Methodist Church, and the Caseville Library Club.
Ruth is survived by her Husband Manly; son Thomas and his wife Christine Bouck of Southfield and daughter Bonnie Snyder of Illinois; step son Paul McComb of Arizona; grandchildren Edward Bouck of Arizonia and Joni and her husband Fergel Amayo of Georgia; step-granddaughters Melissa and her husband Eddie Matos of Arizona and April and her husband Dan Dixon of California; one step-great-grandson Ian; and sisters-in-law Shirley McComb and Harriet Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orville Bouck and her brother Capt. Herbert McDougal.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Pinnebog United Methodist Church with Rev. David Freeland officiating. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills, Michigan. Visitation will be 11:00AM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and from 10:00 AM Monday until the time of service at Church.
Memorials may be made to the Pinnebog United Methodist Church.
