Ruth Bush

Ruth Bush, age 94, of Sebewaing, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 9, 2012. She was born October 22, 1917 in Scottville, MI to the late William and Florence (Arnold) Hayes. In 1939 she married Vern Riskey in Sebewaing. He preceded her in death in 1970. In 1973 she married Milan Bush of Unionville. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Ruth was an active member of the Unionville Moravian Church involved in the Women's Fellowship, Ann's Circle and had formerly been a chair member. She was a member of the USA Senior Citizens and bowling league. Ruth was employed by Best Tackle for many years as well as Denner Brothers Pharmacy.

Ruth is survived by 4 step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She is the dearest friend of Helen Schafer. She is predeceased by 3 brothers and one sister: Arnold Hayes, Jack Hayes, Carl Hayes and Nellie Hahn.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2012 from 2-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Unionville Moravian Church. Visiting will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sebewaing.
