Ruth Arlene Dutcher

Ruth A. Dutcher, 91, of Pigeon, went to be with her Jesus on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Ruth was born June 18, 1933 in Chandler Twp to the late Henry and Elmeda (Litwiller) Bechler.  Ruth was united in marriage to Roland “Dutch” Dutcher Jr on July 6, 1982 at Fairhaven Mennonite Church in Bay Port; he preceded her in death in 2000.  She was a faithful member of the Pigeon River Mennonite Church.

Survivors include niece Judy (Jeff) Kretzschmer; nephews Dennis (Carol) Bechler and Bryan (Wendy) Bechler; and a great Dutcher family; step-daughter Deanne Dutcher; stepsons Robert (Carol) Dutcher, Richard Dutcher and the late Randy (Pam) Dutcher; brother-in-law Jerry (Kathy) Dutcher; sister-in-law Chris Dutcher; many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, December 16, 2024 at Pigeon River Mennonite Church with Rev. David Maurer officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am Monday and continue until the time of the service Monday at church.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
