Ruth Marie Leskowich

Ruth Marie Leskowich, age 93, of Sebewaing, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2011. She was born August 7, 1918 in Sebewaing to the late Henry & Ella (Mueller) Armbruster. Ruth married Andrew Leskowich June 18, 1955 in Unionville. He preceded her in death September 8, 2005. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and baking for her family. Ruth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing.

Ruth is survived by 2 daughters, Marlene Main of Highland, California and Gail (Brad) Singer of Unionville; 5 grandchildren, Ross (Melanie) Singer, Jamie (Eric) Diener, Linsay (Stephen) Cramer, Michael Main, Monica (Ray) Juarez; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Caroline Thrash of Flint; 2 sister-in-laws, Irene (Morris) Bolzman of Sebewaing and Phyllis Armbruster of Flint.

Ruth is preceded in death by 2 brothers, William & Marvin Armbruster; 1 sister, Alberta Armbruster, and 1 son-in-law, Michael Main.

A special thank you to Shelly, LeAnn, Jenny, Irma, and all the girls at Veda Villa AFC Home in Unionville. Thank you for giving my mom your loving care for the last 6 years. Also, a special thank you to Judy, Carol, and the staff from McClaren Hospice Service.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 3-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral service will be Monday, October 3, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at New Bay Port Cemetery in Bay Port, MI.

Memorial donations may be given to ACF Ambulance-Unionville.
