Ruth Trisch

Ruth M. Trisch, age 97, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility in Corunna, following a lingering period of declining health. Ruth was born April 1, 1915 in Sanilac County, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Chard. She was united in marriage with Chester E. Beers on December 1, 1934. They enjoyed music, including community and church bands. Chester preceded her in death on February 3, 1965. She was then united in marriage with Lloyd Trisch on October 24, 1970. They were actively involved with Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church in Caro, gardening and fruit farming. Lloyd preceded her in death on October 21, 1999. Ruth loved to play the piano for pleasure and for worship services held at the church or apartment complex where she lived after moving to Owosso. She had lived the last eighteen months at the Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility. Ruth is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Glenn & Carol Beers of Owosso, Merlin & Judy Beers of Melstrand, Michigan; four step-daughters, four step-sons and their spouses, Beverly Leipprandt of Midland, Sharon Trisch of Bay City, Gloria & Wesley ODell of Mayville, Rosemary & Victor Matuszak, Wayne & Kathy Trisch, Roger & Linda Trisch, Gene & Harriet Trisch, Dennis & Naomi Trisch all of Caro; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, Ruth was preceded in death by two sons, Norbert and John Beers; and one son-in-law, Bob Leipprandt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Dorothy J. Thon officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellington Township Cemetery.
