Sadie Hoffman, 90, of Bad Axe, Michigan passed away July 1, 2021. Sadie was born June 8, 1931 in Brooklyn New York.
Sadie, Sally, Rosaria, was just a few names she answered to besides calling her “beautiful”. Not five minutes would pass and sweet Sadie would be checking her complexion in a mirror or glancing at her reflection in a window. She was beautiful and felt it. She rarely missed a day where make up and jewelry wasn’t present, when asked what her profession was she proudly stated that she was a retired make up artist. Which probably was a dream of hers to be one. Besides beauty, one of her favorite past times was singing. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, were a few of her favorites. “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, she sang many times with her great granddaughter, Hannah. Sadie had a large loving Italian family that stretched from Florida to New York.
She had one son, Sam LaFave (Maureen) two grandchildren Vanessa (Bradley) Fotopoulos and Matthew (Jillian) LaFave and four great grandchildren Gabriel, Anabelle, Hannah and Paige. We will greatly miss her but know that she is singing with her loved ones in Heaven. Bravo! Miss Sadie, we sure love and cherish you.
A very special thank you to the staff at Courtney Manor. They graciously open their hearts and care for our loved ones as if they were their own. We could never thank them enough for loving and taking care of Sadie.
