Sally Ruth Lapratt

Sally Ruth LaPratt of Cass City, age 61, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born October 1, 1960 in Caro, the daughter of Judy (Miller) Babcock and the late Franklin Babcock. She was united in marriage with Bob LaPratt on September 4, 1996 in Caro, and he survives. Sally was employed at McLaren - Caro Region for thirty-six years, starting as admitting clerk, purchasing clerk, and lastly supply chain coordinator. Sally loved the Hallmark channel, going to Hobby Lobby, shopping adventures with Heather, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed diamond art, cross stitch, knitting, camping and cooking for family. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob; children, Tanya Walker (Joe Goodman) of Caro, Jeremy LaPratt (Tammy Waller) of Hastings, Heather (Justin) Rau of Vassar, Jason Maguire (Traci Thornton) of Mayville, Nathan (Tela) Maguire of Caro, Cory Maguire (Renae Ryers) of Caro; eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Kilee, Braydon, Peyton, Ava, Jason, Jayden, Josie, James, Samantha and Tyhlar; mother, Judy Babcock and special friend, Lyle Murray; one sister, Joddy (Frank) Ehrenberg of Cass City; and one brother, Jeff (Marilyn) Babcock of Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
