Samantha Jillian Nelson

Samantha Jillian Nelson, age 34, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at her home in Caro. Samantha was born July 27, 1990 in Saginaw, the daughter of Mark and Joan (Rohde) Nelson. Samantha was a fun-loving daughter, mother and sister who enjoyed shopping, watching funny movies, family gatherings, eating ice cream, baking brownies and spoiling her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Naomi Parish and son, Spencer “Scooby” Mitchell; mother, Joan Nelson; father, Mark Nelson; a sister, Sarah Stockford; grandmother, Fay Nelson; and nieces, Sacoya and Chyna Nelson and Baylee Stockford. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elwood & Erma Rohde; grandfather, Don Nelson; sister, Stephanie “Jazzy” Nelson; and aunt, Sharon Rohde.

In keeping with Samantha’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Isaac Madanu officiating.
