Sandra Kay Cox

Sandra Kay Cox, age 78, of Caro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Medilodge of Cass City. Born on July 21, 1946, in Caro, she was the beloved daughter of the late William H. and Margaret (LaPratt) Bailey. Sandra was a proud graduate of Caro High School, Class of 1965. Over the years, she worked in admitting at St. Mary’s Hospital, in the deli at Wal-Mart, and later at a doctor’s office handling insurance billing. Sandra was a member of the Moose Lodge and a loving, dependable presence in the lives of her nieces and nephews—always ready with a helping hand or a kind word. She will be fondly remembered for her talent in crocheting, especially the beautiful afghans and handmade gifts she generously shared with family and friends.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Carroll (Roland) Elizando; brother-in-law, Ken Campbell; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cox and her sister, Barbara Campbell.

In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
