Sandra Marie Ellesin

Sandra Marie Ellesin of Cass City, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her home. She was born September 13, 1942 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marjorie (Robinson) Lawry. Sandra graduated from Mayville High School and in 1971 she married the love of her life, Mark Ellesin. She was an excellent homemaker and a proud member of AA for over thirty years; helping many people achieve sobriety. Sandra loved to fish, hunt, make crafts, go boating, and play bingo. Above all else, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the lights of her life. Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Mark Ellesin; children, Shawn Daniel Ellesin, Dale LaJoie, and Yvonne LaJoie; daughters-in-law, Kristina Rice and Annette Floyd; grandchildren, Ethan Daniel Ellesin, Izaiah Ellesin, Christian Ellesin, KC Albert, Davonte Holly, Divine Holly, McKenzie LaJoie, Kelsey LaJoie, and Myriah Buschbacher; sister, Bonnie Morton; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Thomas Ellesin; and brother, Gary Lawry. In keeping with Sandra's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
