Sandra K. Harbin age 50, of Lake Twp. near Gotts Corner, died Sunday, July 6, at Covenant Hospital, Saginaw following a long bout of health problems.
She was born January 31, 1964 in Pigeon to the Dorothy (Metzger) Graf and the late Georg Graf. Sandy grew up in the Pigeon area and was a 1982 graduate of Laker High School. In 1983, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Harbin in Fort Wayne, IN.
Sandy lived near Gotts Corner until moving to Harlingen, TX in 1999, where she provided home health care services. She returned to Lake Twp. a week ago to be nearer family, because of her failing health. Sandy enjoyed and followed NASCAR circuit faithfully.
Surviving are her daughter, Courtney Underhill of Oregon; a granddaughter, Aleeyah; her mother, Dorothy Graf of Pigeon; four siblings, Cathy (John) Clark of Lake Twp., Karen (Jay) Brewer of Roscommon, Ken (Kathy) Graf of Bluntville, TN and Carol Drabek of Caseville; nine nieces & nephews and seven great nieces & nephews.
Preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Alyssa Underhill in 2010.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 8 PM Thursday, there will be no public services.
Memorials may be given to Leader Dog or the family.
