Sandra Kolb

Sandra J. Kolb, age 69, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center - Cooper, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 8, 1940 in Gagetown, the daughter of the late Edward & Erma (Langlois) Proulx, and was a lifelong area resident. Sandra graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage with Phillip G. Kolb on September 30, 1961 in Wyandotte. Sandra was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro and will be best remembered for the joy she experienced with her family, especially around Christmas when every inch of her home was decorated. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends and playing cards. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of more than forty-eight years, Phillip G. Kolb of Caro; four children and their spouses, Michael & Sue Kolb of Milford, Darin Kolb of Inkster, Eric & Karrie Kolb of Pinckney, Michele Kolb of Belleville; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Ryan, Nicholas, Joey, Ashley and Alyssa; one sister, Dorothy Bonza of Dearborn Heights; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Proulx of North Branch. Sandra was preceded in death by eight siblings.
