Sarah Ruckman

Sarah Anne Ruckman, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. She was born March 26, 1958, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Blower) Rogers. Sarah was a 1977 graduate of South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores and later graduated from Ross Medical Institute as a Licensed Medical Assistant. She moved to the Marlette area in 1987 and worked for many years at Brown City Wire in Brown City, Michigan. Sarah was a loving mother, sister and aunt and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Sarah is survived by her daughters, Jessica and Erica Ruckman of Marlette; her siblings, Robert & Joy Rogers, Laurie & Noel Bissinger, Joseph Rogers, Daniel & Liza Rogers, Timothy Rogers, Rebecca Rogers, Jennifer & Scott McCormick and Theresa Webster; twenty-two nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews; a close family friend, Melissa Breedlove and many friends and other family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Bartley Ruckman. In keeping with Sarahs wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Mayville American Legion Post #181 with Pastor Douglas Richardson officiating.
